9/28/20 Denied by another specialist

I should not be surprised that yet another specialist has denied seeing me. Three of my doctors had recently referred me to yet another neurosurgeon believing that this group would be my last hope for help in my state. I called this morning to schedule an appointment, but they refused based on the fact that I live a few miles to far north from them. They claim to have a policy of only helping the few counties immediately next to them. We live in a rural small village so going to this larger city is normal, but they wouldn't budge even knowing the urgency. I guess it's back to the drawing board & hope that while not as familiar, or experienced with EDS patients, that I can find someone at least willing to research, & willing to try. If none can be found then I'm currently out of options because going out of state for help is not on the table. I was just given a couple new leads so I will research them & see what areas of surgery they deal with, & try to find out if they are at least familiar with EDS.
